Bookings and cancellation policy

At Oluchi Lodge, we aim to provide a smooth and hassle-free booking experience. Please review our policy below to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

1. Check-in and Check-out
  • Check-in Time: 14:00. Early arrivals are by request and must be arranged with reservations in advance.
  • Check-out Time: 10:30. A late departure fee will be applied after this time.
    • Departures after 14:00 will incur a full night’s charge, based on the room type booked.
  • Extensions of stay are strictly subject to availability. Guests are advised to notify us as early as possible for any intended extensions, and payment for the extension is required by 10:30.
2. Payment and Policies
  • We follow a NO PAY, NO STAY policy.
  • A full pre-payment is required to secure your reservation.
  • We reserve the right to revoke admission.
  • We accept credit and debit cards and EFT as payment methods.
3. Cancellations
  • If a booking is cancelled 21 days or more before the scheduled arrival date, the guest is entitled to a full refund.
  • If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled arrival date, no refund will be given.
4. Amendments to Rates
  • All rates are quoted per apartment per night or month in South African Rand (ZAR), inclusive of VAT.
  • Oluchi Lodge reserves the right to amend rates at any time without prior notice.
5. Guest Responsibilities
  • Guests are responsible for any losses, damages, or breakages to the apartment and its furnishings. The cost of any damages must be settled before departure.
  • The lodge reserves the right to revoke admission if necessary.
6. Services and Inclusions
  • For short-term stays, rates include:
    • Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk, amenities
    • Daily housekeeping services
    • Electricity and water
    • 24-hour security
    • A complimentary parking bay
  • Additional services, such as laundry, incur an extra charge. All invoices must be settled before departure.
7. Lost and Found
  • Any items left behind in an apartment upon departure will be kept for a period of 3 months.
  • After 3 months, unclaimed items will be sold to cover defray expenses.
